PLATE-TYPE HEAT EXCHANGERS

    Intended for realization of heat transfer processes between various working media - liquid-liquid, steam-liquid, steam + gas +liquid, gas+gas in the technological lines of chemical, petrochemical, food industry, as well as in heat supply and hot water supply systems in the cities instead of quick-operating water-water and steam-water heaters.

    Heat exchangers work under pressure from 0.002 till 1.6 MPa (from 0.02 till 16 kgf/cm2) and working media temperature from –20 °C till +150 °C.

    Heat transfer plates material: 12X18H10T, 10X17H13M2T, 06XH28MDT, 08X18H10, titanium.

    Material of sealing gaskets: rubber mixtures based on butadiene-styrene, nitrile, fluorinated and ethylene-propylene-diene rubbers.



    Advantage of plate-type heat exchangers in comparison with shell-and-tube ones:

  • 2-3 timesreduced usage of working area working area required for installation of tube heat exchanger of the same productivity;

  • high heat exchange coefficient k=1900-5000 W/m K° under comparatively small pressure differences permitting to avoid extra-costs for powerful pumps purchasing;

  • minimum temperature difference between heat carriers may amount to 1-20 °C;

  • apparatus surface is changed by removal or adding of corresponding heat-transfer plates;

  • doesn't require heat insulation, heat losses are actually eliminated;

  • reduced tendency to heat transfer surface contamination;

  • small inner volume filled with heat carriers.
